How Earworx uses cookies and similar technologies

Earworx uses a small amount of browser storage to remember your privacy choices. Google Maps is an optional third-party service. We do not load embedded Google Maps unless you have allowed optional map content or specifically requested an individual map.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small pieces of information that websites and online services may place on your device. Similar technologies, including browser local storage, can remember preferences or support site features.

Technologies used on this website

Essential cookie preferences

When you make a choice, this website stores it in your browser's local storage under earworx-cookie-choice-v1. This remembers whether you permit optional embedded maps and the date of your decision.

We retain the choice for up to six months before requesting it again. This preference storage is necessary to remember and respect your choice; it is not used to identify or track you across websites.

Optional Google Maps

The Home, Our Services and Contact pages can display Google Maps.

These maps are not loaded by default for visitors who have not consented. If you enable embedded Google Maps in Cookie settings, maps may load automatically on relevant Earworx pages.

If you decline, maps remain behind a placeholder, and you can still request an individual map using its Load interactive Google Map button.

When Google Maps loads, Google may receive information about your device or connection and set cookies. During local testing, Google's NID and _GRECAPTCHA cookies were observed.

Cookies used by Google, their purposes and their durations can change. Further information is available in Google's information about cookies and Google's Privacy Policy.

Analytics, advertising and other third parties

At the date of this review, the website project assessed did not identify analytics or advertising trackers. This statement will be updated if such technologies are introduced.

Links to third-party websites do not themselves mean that the third party is embedded on the current page.

Your cookie choices

On your first visit, you can choose Accept optional, Reject optional or Manage preferences.

Rejecting optional content does not prevent you from using the rest of the website or contacting Earworx.

You can change your mind at any time by selecting Cookie settings in the website footer or on this page.

Turning off optional maps stops Earworx from loading new map embeds automatically and removes existing embedded maps from the page.

It cannot erase cookies Google has already stored on your device. You can use your browser's privacy controls to manage those cookies.

Blocking browser storage altogether may mean your choice cannot be remembered between visits. In that case, the cookie banner may reappear.
