EARWORX · HULL & EAST YORKSHIRE
Terms & Conditions
Information about appointments, clinical services, payments and your rights.
Last updated: 26 October 2026
These terms explain how Earworx provides its services and what to expect when you enquire about or arrange an appointment. Please read them alongside any appointment confirmation, information or quotation provided directly to you. If anything is unclear, contact us before booking.
1. About Earworx
Earworx is operated by Earworx UK Ltd (company number 14343036), based at Warners Health Club, 80–86 Pickering Road, Hull HU4 6TE. You can contact us on 07935 392965 or at info@earworx.co.uk. In these terms, “Earworx”, “we” and “us” refer to Earworx UK Ltd.
2. Our services
We offer professional ear-health services, subject to clinical suitability, staff availability and the arrangements agreed for each appointment. Services described on this website include:
- Earwax removal by microsuction, where appropriate.
- Ear checks and ear-health advice.
- Individually moulded ear plugs and related hearing protection.
- Ear care and visits arranged for care homes and, where agreed, people unable to attend the clinic.
- Workplace ear-health services, which may be arranged under separate business terms.
- Tinnitus assessment, advice and support within the practitioner’s professional scope.
Website descriptions are general information about our services; the exact assessment, treatment or product supplied will depend on your needs and what has been agreed.
3. Appointments and enquiries
Sending an enquiry through the website, by email or by telephone does not by itself guarantee an appointment. An appointment is confirmed when Earworx has agreed the date, time, service and any relevant booking arrangements with you.
Please provide accurate contact details and tell us about relevant ear conditions, symptoms, previous ear surgery or other medical circumstances when asked. Let us know promptly if you need help with access, communication, mobility or consent arrangements.
For children, or adults who may need support to make decisions, we follow the consent and safeguarding requirements that apply to the individual. We may ask for an appropriate parent, carer or representative to attend, where lawful and appropriate.
4. Clinical suitability, consent and outcomes
A clinician will assess whether an examination, microsuction or other intervention is appropriate. We may advise against treatment, postpone it or recommend assessment by your GP or another suitably qualified professional if this is clinically indicated.
You will be given information relevant to the proposed examination or treatment and have the opportunity to ask questions before agreeing to proceed. You may decline or withdraw consent, subject to any appropriate charge for a service already provided and your legal rights.
Microsuction and other ear-health services cannot guarantee complete wax removal, improvement in hearing or relief from tinnitus. Whether a procedure is suitable, and what can safely be achieved, depends on your individual circumstances. A completed assessment is a service in its own right even when treatment is not advised; any applicable assessment charge should be explained before your appointment.
Our services do not replace urgent or emergency medical care. For sudden hearing loss, severe symptoms or another urgent concern, seek prompt medical advice rather than waiting for a routine Earworx appointment.
5. Prices and payment
We will explain the price of the service, any consultation or follow-up charges, and when payment is due before you agree to proceed. If further visits, special-order products, travel or additional services might incur separate charges, these will be discussed before they are arranged.
Prices shown on the website are indicative unless expressly confirmed as part of your booking. Any VAT that must legally be included in a consumer-facing price will be included or clearly explained before you commit to payment. We will not add an undisclosed charge without your agreement.
6. Changing or cancelling an appointment
If you need to rearrange or cancel, please contact us as early as possible so that we can offer the appointment to another patient.
Any deposit requirement, cancellation charge or missed-appointment fee will be explained before it becomes part of your booking. Charges, where applicable, must be fair and proportionate and must not exceed what may lawfully be recovered. We do not assume that every missed appointment attracts a fee.
If we need to cancel or move an appointment, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and offer an alternative where available. Any refund due will be arranged in accordance with the agreement and applicable law. Nothing in this section limits any cancellation or refund rights provided by law.
7. Custom-moulded ear plugs and other products
Custom-moulded ear plugs are made to fit an individual. We will explain the chosen product, any fitting or impression requirements, the price, expected supply arrangements and applicable aftercare before an order is placed.
Please raise concerns about fit, comfort, quality or suitability promptly so that we can review them. Any alteration, replacement, refund or cancellation will be assessed under the agreed order details and applicable consumer law. A personalised item may have different change-of-mind cancellation rules from a standard product; this does not remove your statutory rights if it is faulty or not as described.
8. Care-home, home and workplace arrangements
Care-home visits, home visits and workplace services are subject to prior agreement about the location, number of people, facilities, prices, access, and any additional requirements. A separate written quotation or service agreement may apply for organisations.
Where a care home, employer or other organisation arranges an appointment, we will clarify who is responsible for payment and obtain any required patient consent. We will not automatically disclose a patient’s confidential clinical information to an employer, care home or other third party merely because that organisation arranged or paid for the service. Information is shared only when lawful and appropriate.
9. Personal information and confidentiality
We collect and use personal and, when appropriate, health information to manage enquiries and appointments and provide safe care. Information is handled in accordance with applicable data protection and confidentiality requirements. Please read our Privacy Policy for more information.
10. Information on this website
We aim to keep website information accurate, clear and current, but it provides general information rather than an individual diagnosis or clinical recommendation. Contact us to confirm service availability, prices or appointment details. Do not rely on this website as a substitute for an assessment by an appropriate healthcare professional.
Links to external websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Please contact us if you notice information that appears inaccurate or a link that does not work.
11. Concerns and complaints
If you are dissatisfied with a service, product or your experience, please contact Earworx on 07935 392965 or at info@earworx.co.uk, explaining the concern and, where relevant, the date of your appointment. We will consider the matter and aim to respond fairly and promptly.
Where appropriate, we may offer further assessment, corrective action, a refund or another remedy. Any remedy depends on the circumstances and your legal rights. You remain free to seek independent advice or make a complaint to any appropriate professional or regulatory body.
12. Our responsibilities and your consumer rights
We provide services with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. These terms do not limit your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable law.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes in our services, business practices or the law. The version applicable to an agreed appointment or order will not be changed retrospectively without an appropriate legal basis or your agreement where required.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
For questions about these terms, contact info@earworx.co.uk or call 07935 392965.
