Questions about workplace ear health

Earworx advertises workplace hearing health assessments, audiometric health surveillance, hearing protection advice and staff presentations. We discuss the needs of your organisation and confirm the precise services and arrangements before booking.
It involves hearing checks carried out over time to help identify possible changes in hearing among workers exposed to noise. An appropriate programme also includes explaining results, keeping suitable records and arranging medical follow-up where needed.
That depends on your workplace noise risks and the applicable health and safety requirements. Employers are responsible for assessing and controlling exposure under the Control of Noise at Work Regulations; hearing surveillance supports, but does not replace, those duties.
Workplace visits may be arranged across Hull and East Yorkshire by agreement. Please contact us with your location, the number of employees and the services required so we can discuss suitable arrangements.
Yes, Earworx offers custom moulded ear plugs and can discuss workplace fitting sessions. The type of protection must be suitable for the noise risk; employers still need appropriate noise controls and hearing protection arrangements.
Hearing assessments involve personal health information that must be handled confidentially and in accordance with data protection requirements. We will explain the arrangements for results, records and appropriate employer reporting before starting a programme.
